What makes working at Ockto great?

 At Ockto we are on an inspiring journey to become the standard for simple and secure personal data sharing in every country we operate in. The last years we have doubled in size and are nowhere near finished. Of course we have a kick ass product we all contribute to in our own way. But what else makes working at Ockto great?   

From the early days on, working at Ockto has been characterized by a very pleasant working atmosphere. With a lot of attention for a good team spirit and the optimal conditions to let you do your greatest work. But what does that mean in practice? Well, here we go: 

Excellent team spirit & culture 

It all starts with hiring the right people, who will contribute to carrying out our core values. This has resulted in the Ockto team being a dynamic group of young (in spirit) and intelligent Ocktasians who bring the best out of each other every day.  

We are proud to say that at Ockto there is an informal, friendly atmosphere, with helpful colleagues who show interest in each other and, above all, have a lot of fun. The diverse working fields, cultures and backgrounds that come together within the Ockto team ensure an inspiring working environment. 

Fun, fun, fun! 

Did we mention we find fun and team spirit an important part of the job already? So, our yearly changing party committee organizes lots of wonderful activities throughout the year. Let’s say; a puzzle rally, skiing trip, karting, darting tournament, city trip, dinners, etc. That is being on top of our regular end-of-week or after-team-meeting drinks, or the occasional (or let’s say daily) ping pong match at the office.  

Modern & informal management style 

At Ockto, our worst nightmary is to become a big bulky organization. So, we work in a flat organizational structure with short lines and quick decisions. We work based on trust and responsibility within your own area of work. This gives you the flexibility to do your work under the best conditions for you. 

Working wherever you want, whenever you want 

Being limited in your work by failing equipment or infrastructure is not for Ockto. You just must be able to do your job well, whether you are at home or at the office. With good equipment (MacBook Pro, smartphone) , the right tools, and other aids. 

We see a lot of added value in face-to-face collaboration, but also in being able to focus on a task in a concentrated way. So, whether you work in the office, at home, or elsewhere, you simply arrange that with your team. 

We also take good care of the inner person. With good coffee, sodas, snack, fruit, the occasional beer or wine and a reasonable lunch contribution in the company restaurant of our office building. At the office that is. You must take care of that yourself at home 😉
